IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

CANCELLATION OF BLESS WALES 2020

18 Mar 2020

Dear Delegates & Friends

Many of you have been asking about the status of the Bless Wales 2020 Conference, and like you, the Bless Wales Organising Team has been keeping our eyes on the the developments of the ongoing Covid-19 situation and our ears open to the leading of the Spirit.

It is therefore after much prayer and deliberation that we would like to announce the CANCELLATION of the BLESS WALES Conference from April 22-24 in Swansea, Wales.

As of Mar 18, there are 136 cases in Wales and over 1,900 in the UK. While we do not operate in a spirit of fear, we felt the decision to cancel is the best call to make at this point – and in keeping with the UK Government’s advisory against mass gatherings. Our delegates’ and volunteers’ well-being and safety are of utmost importance to us.

CONFERENCE FEE REFUND DETAILS

In light of this cancellation, the Bless Wales Committee will give a FULL REFUND to all who have signed up and paid for the conference fee.

Payment by CREDIT CARD

Delegates who have paid by CREDIT CARD will have their refund credited to their account within two billing cycles from today. The conference pass will be invalidated and no other action is needed from the registrant.

Payment by BANK TRANSFER

Delegates who have paid via BANK TRANSFER will be contacted directly by our Bless Wales Conference Office within the next two weeks on a refund arrangement. Again, no action is required from your end.

Delegates who have booked airline tickets and hotel stays in preparation for their visit to Wales are advised to approach their respective airlines or hotels to request for a refund.

We understand that this news may come as a disappointment to those who have eagerly anticipated the conference. Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your kind understanding in this matter.

If you have further enquiries, you can email us at info@blesswales.org and we will do our best to assist you.

In this difficult time, we seek your prayers for this global pandemic to subside. We trust that God is in control of the situation and His timing and ways are always perfect.

“May the Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26

Yours sincerely
